On Friday the Junior Syndicate went to Rabbit Island on the Mapua Ferry with Richard de Hammel to learn about how the Maori lived in Mapua in the past. Richard taught us about fishing, making fires, building traps for food and huts to live in. We got to go away and try to make some of this things ourselves. Here is just some of the many pictures taken from that day. We had a wonderful time and learnt a lot of amazing things.
